Building for the medical industry is one of the biggest challenges in construction. In the past, having our project managers take photos of the most important utilities before closing the walls & ceilings was only helpful to a certain extent. But Envision CPD not only documents every square foot of the project, we also have the option of having their team take photos in progression as many times as we deem necessary.
Last year we were building a senior living facility, and the tech team was in the final testing stages of the nursing station call bell system. The problem was that the bells were calling to the wrong nursing stations, and the techs had already spent countless hours trying to troubleshoot the issue. Our project manager saw that they were behind schedule and stopped them just before they were about cut open several walls and ceilings. We logged onto our Envision account, and after some detailed searching discovered a small, unconnected wire. One tiny but very important – and very aggravating – oversight was quickly resolved, and saved us well over $100,000.
Needless to say, everyone on the project was extremely impressed with the quality of the photos and the precision of their locations. Today, we don’t start a new project before meeting with Envision CPD.

We were in the finishing stages of my new home project, and I’d had a custom wall-unit built for the dining room. On the day it was to be installed, I stopped by the house to make sure all was going well. The installer asked if there are any pipes in the wall as they needed to attach the unit with large anchor bolts. I took out my smart phone, logged into my Envision account, and showed them the floorplan photos that had been taken of that wall. They saw exactly where all the pipes, hvac ducts and, central vacuum lines were, which allowed them to use caution when installing the unit. Had we not known where those pipes were located, I’m almost certain that they would have hit one. We were less than a week away from finally moving in to our new home, and we would have had to stop everything to open the wall, fix the damage, replace the drywall, repaint etc. I can proudly say that Envisions photo documentation service not only paid for itself, but saved me additional time, money and aggravation.
